Analysis of the clinical effect of superconducting visual IUD removal in postmenopausal women
Objective To observe the clinical effect of superconducting visual IUD removal in postmenopausal women. Methods 180 postmenopausal women who underwent IUD removal in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were divided into a control group and a research group according to random numerical table, with 90 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional IUD removal, and the research group was treated with superconducting visual IUD removal. The surgical related indicators, success rate of one-time IUD removal, and intraoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The surgical procedure time in the research group was(1.55±0.44)min,the intraoperative bleeding volume was(2.11±0.29)ml,and the duration of surgical pain was(9.23±1.23)min,which were shorter than those of(3.79±0.52)min,(5.02±0.64)ml and(19.02±3.47)min in the control group;and the pain score of(2.26±0.33)points was lower than that of(4.77±0.61)points in the control group(P<0.05).The success rate of one-time IUD removal of 95.56%in the research group was slightly higher than that of 91.11%in the control group, and the incidence of intraoperative complications of 6.67%was slightly lower than that of 10.00%in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion In postmenopausal women, the superconducting visual IUD removal is more effective than conventional IUD removal, which can avoid blind operation, significantly shorten the surgical procedure time, reducing bleeding volume, shorten the duration of pain for the patient. It can also improve the success rate of one-time IUD removal, reduce the occurrence of complications, and the effect is ideal. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
