Effect analysis of atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with anti-osteoporosis drugs on lower limb function in stroke patients with hemiplegia
Objective To explore the effect of atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with anti-osteoporosis drugs on lower limb function in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods 68 stroke patients with hemiplegia were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with anti-osteoporosis drugs, and the observation group was treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets on the basis of the control group. Both groups were compared in terms of scores of Activities of Daily Living(ADL),National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),Berg Balance Scale(BBS),Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale(FMA),Functional Comprehensive Assessment Scale(FCA),lower-limb muscle strength and lower-limb Brunnstrom staging score before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the observation group had ADL score of(85.56±9.42)points,BBS score of(42.41±3.19)points,FMA score of(80.36±4.79)points and FCA score of(85.33±5.15)points,which were higher than those of(70.39±6.73),(34.77±4.64),(71.25±5.80)and(71.41±6.52)points in the control group, and the NIHSS score of(8.61±1.43)points in the observation group was lower than(14.74±3.09)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the lower-limb muscle strength score of(4.90±1.01)points and lower-limb Brunnstrom staging score of(4.49±1.29)points in the observation group were higher than those of(3.49±1.27)and(3.61±1.59)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with anti-osteoporosis drugs can significantly improve the relevant index scores of patients with post-stroke hemiplegia, which plays an important role in reducing the impact of the disease, and has a significant effect on the recovery of lower limb function, which is worthy of widespread promotion.
