Clinical observation of tinidazole suppository combined with estradiol gel in the treatment of senile vaginitis in outpatient department
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of tinidazole suppository combined with estradiol gel on senile vaginitis in outpatient department. Methods 200 elderly vaginitis patients were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was treated with tinidazole suppository, and the observation group was treated with tinidazole suppository combined with estradiol gel.The treatment effect, clinical symptoms, estrogen[follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2)]level,and occurrence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group(99.00%)was higher than that in the control group(89.00%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the incidence of vaginal wall redness, swelling and bleeding, excessive vaginal discharge, vaginal itching, and vaginal burning in the control group were 36.00%,39.00%,28.00%and 29.00%,while those in the observation group were 10.00%,8.00%,10.00%and 5.00%,respectively.Compared with the control group, the incidence of vaginal wall redness, swelling and bleeding, excessive vaginal discharge, vaginal itching, and vaginal burning was lower in the observation group(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had FSH of(23.29±4.22)U/L and E2 of(151.88±7.84)pmol/L were higher than those of(14.37±3.11)U/L and(98.43±6.99)pmol/L in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of tinidazole suppository and estradiol gel has a better clinical effect in the treatment of senile vaginitis in outpatient department. The clinical symptoms of patients have been significantly improved, the estrogen level has increased, which has a higher therapeutic safety and is worthy of clinical application.
