Evaluation of clinical effect of early meridian blood injection therapy in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of early meridian blood injection therapy in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods Using the randomized controlled trial method,60 patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease included in the access criteria were randomly divided into a meridian blood injection group and a control group, with 30 cases in each group. All patients were treated with basic treatment of Western medicine, and the meridian blood injection group was given early meridian blood injection therapy on this basis. At the time of admission and discharge, the cough severity score, sputum viscosity grading, dyspnea severity score and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease health damage score were evaluated before and after treatment, and the variation between the two groups were compared. Results The variation visual analogue scale(VAS)score, modified British medical research council(mMRC)score, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease assessment test(CAT)score of the meridian blood injection group at admission and discharge were(4.48±2.22),(1.65±0.40),and(16.34±8.10)points,which were higher than(1.94±1.50),(0.92±0.23),and(12.08±5.86)point of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The decline in sputum viscosity of meridian injection group at admission and discharge was(1.24±0.59)degree,which was greater than(1.08±0.20)degree of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Early meridian blood injection therapy for patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can effectively reduce the severity of cough, effectively alleviate the degree of dyspnea, and make the clinical symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients more effectively controlled, which is worth promoting.
