Investigation and analysis of cognition of artificial breast and quality of life in postoperative patients with breast cancer
Objective To analyze the investigation on the cognition of artificial breast and quality of life in postoperative patients with breast cancer.Methods A total of 200 cases of breast cancer patients who underwent modified radical mastectomy from September 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the study subjects.All patients wore artificial breast after surgery,and their cognition,quality of life and body image were analyzed.Results The time of first wearing artificial breast for 200 patients after surgery was(4.39±2.30)months.The cognitive survey showed that more than 50%of them were willing to wear bra-shaped artificial breast,accepted breast implants less than 1000 yuan's,wore artificial breast all the time except sleeping,thought artificial breast would improve their self-image,improved their sexual life,learned about artificial breast through patients and medical staff,knew artificial breast well,and needed to get information about artificial breast through medical staff.The total score of the quality of life scale was(152.66±12.50)points.In the total score of the Body Image Scale,the scores of general body image and body image related to cancer treatment were(8.26±3.06)and(8.62±3.45)points.Conclusion The quality of life of patients who use artificial breast is in the middle level,and their body image is in the lower-middle level,and patients don't know enough about artificial breast.It is recommended that breast specialist nurses provide patients with information about artificial breast to guide them in choosing the appropriate artificial breast,understand how they feel when they wear them and provide them with targeted nursing care measures,so as to effectively reduce their physical and psychological distress.
