Effect of indwelling lacrimal duct drainage tube on the curative effect of endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy
Objective To explore the effect of indwelling lacrimal duct drainage tube on the curative effect of endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. Methods 70 patients(70 eyes)with chronic dacryocystitis were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random numerical table, each with 35 cases(35 eyes). Both groups received endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. The control group had no indwelling lacrimal duct drainage tube, while the observation group had indwelling lacrimal duct drainage tube. The curative effect, anastomotic wound healing and granulation tissue proliferation were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The gradual epithelization of anastomosis accounted for 71.43%(25/35)in the control group and 91.43%(32/35)in the observation group, and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The granulation tissue growth rate of the control group was 22.86%(8/35),and that of the observation group was 5.71%(2/35),which was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The indwelling lacrimal duct drainage tube can improve the success rate of endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy, promote the gradual epithelization of the anastomosis and reduce the growth of granulation tissue in patients. It has high application value.
