Analysis of the influence of combined treatment of Medilac-vita and montmorillonite powder on the recovery time of stool and blood routine in children with diarrhea
Objective To analyze the influence of combined treatment of live combined bacillus subtilis and enterococcus faecium granules with multivitamines(trade name:Medilac-vita)and montmorillonite powder on the recovery time of stool and blood routine in children with diarrhea.Methods 87 children with diarrhea were divided into a study group(44 cases)and a reference group(43 cases)according to different treatment methods.The study group was treated with Medilac-vita and montmorillonite powder,and the reference group was treated with montmorillonite powder.Both groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy,stool(recovery of frequency of stool and stool property),recovery time of blood routine,time to remission of symptoms(abdominal pain,vomiting,fever),inflammatory factors,immune indicators improvement.Results In the study group,the time to recovery of frequency of stool and stool property were(2.24±0.09),(2.75±0.17)and(2.92±0.24)d,the time to remission of abdominal pain,vomiting and fever were(3.24±0.17),(4.44±0.29)and(4.99±0.45)d,which were significantly shorter than(2.23±0.13),(3.28±0.18),(2.58±0.22)d and(1.07±0.05),(1.18±0.08),(1.91±0.11)d in the reference group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-2,interleukin-10,immunoglobulin G and immunoglobulin A were significantly improved in both groups compared with those before treatment;and the study group had interleukin-2 of(41.65±3.64)pg/ml,interleukin-10 of(75.64±6.87)pg/ml,immunoglobulin G of(16.88±2.18)g/L and immunoglobulin A of(1.69±0.34)g/L,which were significantly higher than(59.92±5.09)pg/ml,(54.35±5.24)pg/ml,(11.86±1.26)g/L and(1.28±0.22)g/L in the reference group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 97.73%,which was significantly higher than 83.72%of the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Medilac-vita and montmorillonite powder in the treatment of children with diarrhea can effectively shorten the recover time of stool and blood routine and the time to remission of various symptoms,improve the overall curative effect,and improve the inflammatory factors and immune function of children.
