Study on effect of cefiderocol on metallo-β-lactamase-producing gram-negative bacteria
metallo-β-lactamase(MBLs)-producing gram-negative bacteria are common pathogens of clinical infection, which can cause a variety of serious infections, among which metallo-β-lactamase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae(KP)is an important hospital-acquired infection in the world, posing a serious threat to the current anti-infective treatment. As a new cephalosporin, cefiderocol has the characteristics of strong antibacterial activity, wide range of action, strong tissue penetration, etc. It has strong antibacterial activity against carbapenemases-producing enterobacter,Acinetobacter baumannii, pseudomonas aeruginosa, stenomonas maltophilia, and it also has quite good activity against metallo-β-lactamase.In this study, the effect of cefiderocol on metallo-β-lactamase producing gram-negative bacteria is analyzed comprehensively.
