Corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a highly contagious respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus that has caused a major public health crisis worldwide.While the disease's main symptom is a respiratory infection,studies have shown that the virus may also impact the male reproductive system.The male reproductive system is a complex system of many organs and tissues,including the testicles,prostate,urethra,and reproductive tract,and the normal structure and function of these organs and tissues are essential for male reproductive health.This article updates the latest knowledge of the effect of infection with SARS-CoV-2 on male reproductive health and sexual function so that healthcare workers and the public can better understand the problem and take preventive and therapeutic measures accordingly.
