Study on the clinical efficacy of modified self-made Xiaotong Sanjie Decoction in the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy children with phlegm-qi stagnation syndrome
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of modified self-made Xiaotong Sanjie Decoction in the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy children with phlegm-qi stagnation syndrome.Methods A total of 100 cases of adenoid hypertrophy children with phlegm-qi stagnation syndrome were divided into a control group(50 cases)and an observation group(50 cases)by simple random method.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with modified self-made Xiaotong Sanjie Decoction.The therapeutic effect,score of nasopharynx lateral film,disease grade,quality of life score and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group(84.0%),the clinical total effective rate of the observation group(96.0%)was significantly higher(P<0.05).Compared with that before treatment,the score of nasopharynx lateral film in both groups was improved after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the score of nasopharynx lateral film of the observation group was(1.09±0.15)points,which was significantly decreased compared with the control group's(1.54±0.31)points(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the scores of physical functioning,role-physical,bodily pain,general health,vitality,social functioning,role-emotional and mental health in the observation group were significantly higher after treatment(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(2.0%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(14.0%)(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified self-made Xiaotong Sanjie Decoction has significant clinical efficacy in adenoid hypertrophy children with phlegm-qi stagnation syndrome,which can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of children,improve the function of adenoids,thus improving the quality of life of children with high safety,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
