Effect analysis of strengthening pharmaceutical affairs management on promoting clinical rational drug use
Objective To explore the effect of strengthening pharmaceutical affairs management on promoting clinical rational drug use.Methods A total of 600 patients(600 prescriptions)were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 300 patients(300 prescriptions)in each group.The control group was treated with conventional pharmaceutical affairs management,while the observation group was treated with enhanced pharmaceutical affairs management.The medication and inpatient indicators,prescription failure rate,drug safety incidents,pharmacist's work quality score and medication satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The types of antibacterial drugs used,the cost of antibacterial drugs used,the treatment duration and the treatment cost in the observation group were(1.23±0.54),(221.36±83.29)yuan,(7.02±2.58)d and(1012.97±352.15)yuan,which were less than(2.42±0.61),(583.24±126.72)yuan,(12.31±3.87)d and(3084.75±847.62)yuan in the control group(P<0.05).The prescription failure rate was 2.00%in the observation group,which was significantly lower than 17.33%in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 1.33%,which was lower than 7.67%in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of service attitude,pharmaceutical knowledge,prescription review,and practical operation in the observation group were(9.54±0.27),(9.46±0.33),(9.51±0.30)and(9.50±0.32)points,which were significantly higher than(8.12±0.56),(8.03±0.62),(8.07±0.58)and(8.04±0.53)points in the control group(P<0.05).The medication satisfaction rate of 99.0%in the observation group was significantly higher than 78.33%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening pharmaceutical affairs management has significant effect on promoting clinical rational drug use.It can significantly reduce the number of antimicrobial agents used,reduce the prescription failure,reduce the treatment cost and shorten the treatment time,improve the medication safety,and effectively improve the quality of pharmacists'work and enhance patients'medication satisfaction.
