Study on the effect of different instruments in root canal treatment of molar teeth
Objective To study the effect of different instruments in root canal treatment of molar teeth,so as to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods 70 patients who underwent root canal treatment of molar teeth were selected as study subjects, and were randomly assigned to different instrument groups, including the K-file group(23 cases),the fine-needle group(23 cases),and the ultrasound group(24 cases). The degree of root canal cleaning, root canal filling quality and treatment time of the three groups were compared. Results a.The degree of root canal cleaning of K-file group was(90.4±1.5)%,which was higher than(80.3±2.0)%of fine-needle group and(85.5±1.5)%of ultrasound group;the degree of root canal cleaning in ultrasound group was higher than that in fine-needle group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).b.The score of root canal filling quality in fine-needle group was(9.1±0.4)points,which was higher than(8.5±1.2)points in K-file group and(8.0±1.5)points in ultrasound group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in score of root canal filling quality between K-file group and ultrasound group(P>0.05).c.The treatment time of(25.2±1.8)min in ultrasound group was shorter than(30.0±2.2)min in K-file group and(35.4±2.5)min in fine-needle group;the treatment time in K-file group was shorter than that in fine-needle group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Different instruments have different functions in root canal treatment of molar teeth. In the treatment, the corresponding instruments should be selected according to the specific situation.
