Clinical significance of D-dimer in psychiatric inpatients
Objective To explore the effect and significance of D-dimer in psychiatric inpatients. Methods 150 psychiatric inpatients were selected as the experimental group, and treated with anticoagulation and antithrombotic therapy, and 150 healthy subjects during the same period were selected as the control group. The plasma levels of D-dimer and fibrinogen in the experimental group before and after treatmen and in the control group were measured. The levels of fibrinogen and D-dimer of the two groups were compared. Results Before treatment, the experimental group had fibrinogen of(4.65±0.76)g/L and D-dimer of(0.97±0.29)mg/L,which were higher than(2.17±0.52)g/L and(0.24±0.06)mg/L in the control group;after treatment, the fibrinogen of(3.78±0.57)g/L and D-dimer of(0.62±0.21)mg/L in the experimental group were lower than those before treatment, but still higher than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The content of D-dimer in psychiatric inpatients is significantly higher than that in normal people. Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and treatment of thrombosis in psychiatric inpatients.
