Application effect analysis of PDCA cycle in standardized management of anesthetics and psychotropic drugs
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of PDCA(Plan-Do-Check-Action)cycle in standardized management of anesthetics and psychotropic drugs. Methods 85 patients with anesthetics and psychotropic drugs were divided into a control group(40 cases)and an observation group(45 cases)according to random number table method. The control group was administered by routine management, and the observation group was administered by PDCA cycle. The management effect and management of dispensing of narcotic drugs of the two groups were compared. Results The total incidence of management issues such as non-standard prescription writing, failure to retrieve empty ampoules after medication, and unclear prescription dosage in the observation group was 2.22%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The rate of prescription approval, standard rate of drug usage and dosage, and registration rate of prescription list in the observation group were 100.00%,95.56%and 97.78%,which were higher than 72.50%,75.00%and 70.00%in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion PDCA cycle shows significant effect on standardized management of anesthetics and psychotropic drugs, and can reduce the problems in the process of prescription, use and management of anesthetic drugs, and is worth promoting and using.
