Research progress of Houpu Paiqi mixture in treating constipation during perioperative period of fracture
Constipation is a common complication in perioperative period of fracture,and it is a clinical problem that troubles orthopedic doctors for a long time.Related studies have shown that perioperative constipation,if not treated in time,can lead to many complications,prolong hospital stay and increase medical expenses.Compared with Western medicine,Chinese medicine has a unique advantage in the treatment of constipation in the perioperative period of fracture.Chinese medicine advocates the treatment of syndrome differentiation and pays attention to the improvement of clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients.In order to meet the clinical needs,under the guidance of Chinese medicine,Houpu Paiqi mixture came into being.This article reviews the etiology and pathogenesis of perioperative constipation in fracture patients and the clinical application of Houpu Paiqi mixture in recent years.
