Study on clinical effect of tissue-selecting therapy stapler combined with external hemorrhoidectomy in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids
Objective To explore the clinical effect of tissue-selecting therapy stapler(TST)combined with external hemorrhoidectomy in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods A total of 152 patients with mixed hemorrhoids were divided into a control group and an observation group by simple random method, with 76 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ruiyun procedure for hemorrhoid(RPH),and the observation group was treated with TST combined with external hemorrhoidectomy. The clinical efficacy, postoperative bleeding score, postoperative anal pain score and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 98.7%,which was higher than 88.2%of the control group(P<0.05).The bleeding scores of the observation group were(0.54±0.16)and(0.15±0.03)points at 5 and 10 d after surgery, which were significantly lower than(1.05±0.27)and(0.77±0.18)points of the control group(P<0.05).The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of patients in the observation group were(2.98±1.32),(1.34±1.16)and(1.10±1.02)points at 3,5 and 10 d after surgery, which were significantly lower than(5.16±2.25),(3.88±1.47)and(2.63±1.23)points in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with 13.2%in the control group, the postoperative complication rate of 3.9%in the observation group was significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion TST combined with external hemorrhoidectomy has significant clinical effect on patients with mixed hemorrhoidectomy, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, relieve postoperative bleeding and anal pain, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
