Efficacy and safety analysis of somatostatin combined with omeprazole in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage
Objective To analyze the effect and safety of somatostatin combined with omeprazole in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Methods 70 patients with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage were divided into a reference group and an observation group by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with omeprazole, and the observation group was treated with omeprazole + somatostatin. Both groups were compared in terms of treatment effect, occurrence of adverse reactions, time to hemostasis, length of hospital stay, and coagulation function[D-dimer(D-D),plasma fibrinogen(FIB),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),plasma prothrombin time(PT)]before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of 97.14%in the observation group was higher than 80.00%in the reference group(P<0.05).The time to hemostasis and length of hospital stay of the observation group were(12.32±3.36)h and(7.18±1.74)d,which were shorter than(18.23±5.32)h and(10.13±2.23)d of the reference group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of 2.86%in the observation group was lower than 17.14%in the reference group(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had D-D of(0.53±0.22)mg/L,APTT of(26.03±2.12)s,and PT of(11.13±0.58)s,which were lower than(0.96±0.39)mg/L,(28.42±3.11)s,and(13.68±0.68)s in the reference group;the observation group had higher FIB of(2.93±0.29)g/L than(2.21±0.32)g/L in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of somatostatin combined with omeprazole in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage has significant effects, which can effectively improve the body's coagulation function, reduce the amount of blood loss, shorten the length of hospital stay, and have fewer adverse reactions after medication. It is safe and worthy of promotion.
