Analysis of efficacy of self-made Yangwei decoction on chronic atrophic gastritis patients with deficiency of spleen and stomach syndrome
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of self-made Yangwei decoction on chronic atrophic gastritis patients with deficiency of spleen and stomach syndrome.Methods 34 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis patients with deficiency of spleen and stomach syndrome were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 17 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with self-made Yangwei decoction on the basis of the control group.The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,histopathologic score,gastric endometrial glandular function[gastrin-17(G-17),motilin(MOT),soluable interleukin-2 receptor(sIL-2R),endothelin(ET)]and immune function(CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+)were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the scores of gastric fullness,pain,weight loss and loose stool in the observation group were(0.57±0.36),(0.72±0.14),(1.81±0.34)and(0.71±0.41)points,which were significantly lower than(1.62±0.78),(1.45±0.34),(2.86±0.45),(1.38±0.48)points in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of dysplasia,gland atrophy,intestinal metaplasia and chronic inflammation in the observation group were(0.84±0.12),(3.24±0.31),(2.84±0.55)and(2.11±0.19)points,which were significantly lower than(1.61±0.54),(4.38±0.53),(4.31±0.90)and(2.97±0.36)points in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of G-17,MOT,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,while the levels of sIL-2R,ET,CD8+ in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Self-made Yangwei decoction is effective for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with deficiency of the spleen and stomach syndrome.It can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of the patients and repair gastric mucosa,so it can be widely used in clinical practice.
