Study on the correlation between prenatal linea alba elasticity score and postpartum diastasis recti abdominis
Objective To explore the correlation between the linea alba elasticity score and the occurrence of diastasis recti abdominis and the inter-recti distance at 28 weeks of pregnancy and 1 week before the expected delivery date,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the prediction and evaluation of clinical diastasis recti abdominis, and provide new reference for the early warning of clinical diastasis recti abdominis. Methods 178 pregnant women who were followed up were studied, and the incidence of diastasis recti abdominis at 2 and 6 months postpartum was investigated.40 cases with diastasis recti abdominis at 2 and 6 months postpartum were selected as the observation group, and 40 cases without diastasis recti abdominis were selected as the control group. The differences between inter-recti distance and linea alba elasticity score in different states(resting, flexion, end of expiration)at different maternal sites(raphe and umbilicus midpoint, umbilicus level)in the two groups were compared. The correlation of linea alba elasticity score with inter-recti distance in different states(resting, flexion, end of expiration)was analyzed. Results The inter-recti distance at umbilicus level and raphe and umbilicus midpoint in the resting, flexed, and end-expiratory states of the observation group was greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).The inter-recti distance at umbilicus level in both groups was greater than that at raphe and umbilicus midpoint;the inter-recti distance at umbilicus level and raphe and umbilicus midpoint in flexed state were less than that in the resting state;the inter-recti distance at umbilicus level in the end-expiratory state was greater than in the resting state(P<0.05).The linea alba elasticity score at umbilicus level and raphe and umbilicus midpoint in the resting, flexed, and end-expiratory states of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The linea alba elasticity score at umbilicus level in both groups in the resting, flexed, and end-expiratory states was lower than that at raphe and umbilicus midpoint(P<0.05).Pearson's correlation analysis showed that the linea alba elasticity score in the resting, flexed, and end-expiratory states at 28 weeks of pregnancy were well and positively correlated with the inter-recti distance(r=0.412,0.464,0.436>0.4;P<0.05).The linea alba elasticity score in resting, flexed, and end-expiratory states at 1 week before the expected delivery date of delivery were well and positively correlated with the inter-recti distance(r=0.336,0.396,0.313>0.3;P<0.05).Conclusion Postpartum patients with diastasis recti abdominis have different characteristics in different states and at different sites. The linea alba elasticity score at 28 weeks of pregnancy and 1 week before the expected delivery date is positively correlated with the occurrence of diastasis recti abdominis and the inter-recti distance. This provides a new reference for the early warning of diastasis recti abdominis in clinical mothers, and has clinical application value.
