Analysis of the clinical effect of non-invasive ventilator on patients with severe bronchial asthma
Objective To explore and analyze the clinical effect of non-invasive ventilator on patients with severe bronchial asthma.Methods 96 patients with severe bronchial asthma were collected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,the included subjects were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,and the study group received non-invasive ventilator assisted treatment on the basis of the control group.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of treatment efficiency,blood gas index[arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)],lung function index[forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),ratio of FEV1 to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)and peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)],and quality of life score.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 97.92%,which was higher than 81.25%of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the study group had higher PaO2 of(91.63±4.85)mm Hg(1 mm Hg= 0.133 kPa)than(86.57±4.52)mm Hg in the control group,and lower PaCO2 of(43.62±2.17)mm Hg than(46.58±2.09)mm Hg in the control group(P<0.001).After treatment,FEV1,FEV1/FVC and PEF in the study group were(1.81±0.42)L,(75.48±5.61)%and(5.22±1.46)L/s,which were higher than(1.25±0.31)L,(69.51±4.58)%and(4.15±1.37)L/s in the control group(P<0.001).After treatment,the scores of physiologic function,mental ability,social ability,spirit/belief and environmental status of patients in the study group were(66.93±4.79),(59.39±3.78),(49.38±3.22),(55.81±4.82)and(58.73±4.53)points,which were higher than(63.26±5.17),(55.34±5.72),(46.38±6.21),(51.49±5.72)and(56.59±5.28)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive ventilator is effective in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma,and can improve the lung function and blood gas indexes of patients,so as to improve the quality of life of patients.
