Observation on the curative effect of self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with joint mobilization training on patients with post-stroke hemiplegia
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with joint mobilization training in the treatment of patients with post-stroke hemiplegia.Methods A total of 50 patients with post-stroke hemiplegia were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 25 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with conventional Western medicine of anti-inflammatory,analgesic and stomach protection,and patients in the treatment group were treated with self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and joint mobilization training on the basis of the control group.The limb motor function,cerebral hemodynamic index[systolic velocity(Vs),mean velocity(Vm),pulsation index(PI),and resistance index(RI)of bilateral middle cerebral arteries]and treatment effect of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in Fugl-Meyer motor scale score of upper and lower limbs between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the Fugl-Meyer motor scale score of upper and lower limbs in the treatment group were(31.25±2.24)and(22.35±2.03)points,which were higher than(27.32±2.06)and(18.41±1.36)points in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in Vs,Vm,PI and RI of bilateral middle cerebral arteries between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the treatment group had Vs of(48.54±3.65)cm/s and Vm of(36.98±3.65)cm/s,which were higher than(44.31±2.85)and(30.14±2.74)cm/s in the control group;the treatment group had PI of(0.68±0.08)and RI of(0.58±0.02),which were lower than(0.75±0.10)and(0.62±0.09)in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.00%,which was higher than 76.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion On the basis of conventional treatment,the combined application of self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and joint mobilization training can effectively improve the limb motor function and cerebral hemodynamic indexes of patients with post-stroke hemiplegia,improve the final therapeutic effect,and help patients recover early,which is worthy of promotion and application.
