Observation on the therapeutic effect of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of breast hyperplasia of liver depression and qi stagnation type
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of breast hyperplasia of liver depression and qi stagnation type. Methods 60 patients with breast hyperplasia of liver depression and qi stagnation type were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method with 30 cases in each group. The control group received Western medicine therapy, while the observation group received combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy. Both groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy, endocrine hormone indicators[prolactin(PRL),progesterone(P),estradiol(E2),serum luteinizing hormone(LH)]levels, and improvement of symptom(tumor size, tumor range, tumor hardness, and pain)scores. Results After treatment, the observation group had a higher total effective rate of 100.00%than 73.33%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had PRL of(21.33±1.41)ng/ml and E2 of(55.66±6.23)pg/ml,which were lower than the control group's(28.38±1.66)ng/ml and(78.44±7.44)pg/ml;the observation group had P of(15.22±2.03)ng/ml and LH of(15.66±1.25)mU/ml,which were higher than the control group's(12.77±1.88)ng/ml and(10.92±1.13)mU/ml(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had tumor size of(2.42±0.29)points,tumor range of(2.22±0.38)points,tumor hardness of(2.59±0.29)points,and pain score of(1.09±0.29)points,which were lower than the control group's(3.35±0.33),(3.77±0.45),(3.77±0.34),and(2.58±0.35)points(P<0.05).Conclusion Combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine can effectively improve the treatment effect, improve endocrine hormone levels, alleviate various clinical symptoms, and have significant clinical application value in patients with breast hyperplasia of liver depression and qi stagnation type.
