Study on the effect of clinical pharmacists participating in perioperative analgesia in general surgery
Objective To explore the effect of clinical pharmacists participating in perioperative analgesia in general surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent general surgery were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given traditional analgesia mode, and the observation group was given perioperative pharmaceutical service provided by clinical pharmacists on the basis of the control group.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of postoperative discharge time, postoperative pain level, treatment satisfaction, occurrence of adverse reactions, substance P level, and norepinephrine level. Results The postoperative discharge time in the observation group was(9.66±0.87)d,which was shorter than(10.07±0.91)d in the control group(t=2.302,P=0.023<0.05).The numerical rating scale(NRS)scores of the observation group were(7.36±0.49)and(5.57±1.26)points at 12 and 24 h postoperatively, which were lower than(7.63±0.57)and(6.34±1.18)points of the control group(P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction in the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than 86.00%in the control group(P<0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in both groups. The observation group had substance P of(183.26±26.23)ng/ml and norepinephrine of(374.51±37.56)ng/ml,which were lower than(195.62±29.41)and(392.34±32.34)ng/ml in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In perioperative period of general surgery, analgesic treatment with the participation of clinical pharmacists has significant effects, which can help to improve patients'heart rate and mean arterial pressure, reduce patients'pain symptoms, and improve patients'satisfaction. This method has high clinical application value.
