Study on effect of amiodarone combined with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets in the treatment of acute ventricular arrhythmia and its influence on stability of cardiac function
Objective To study the effect of amiodarone combined with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets in the treatment of acute ventricular arrhythmia and its influence on stability of cardiac function. Methods 60 patients with acute ventricular arrhythmia were selected as the study subjects and divided into an observation group(n=30)and a control group(n=30)according to random lottery method. Both groups received conventional treatment,on the basis of which the control group was treated with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets, and the observation group was treated with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets and amiodarone.Comparison was made on clinical efficacy, cardiac function indexes[left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)],heart rate and PR interval between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%,which was higher than the control group's 76.67%(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no difference between the two groups in terms of LVEDD,LVEF and LVESD(P>0.05).After treatment,LVEF in both groups was higher than that before treatment, and LVEDD and LVESD were lower than those before treatment;the observation group had higher LVEF of(53.05±3.45)%than(45.11±3.29)%in the control group;the observation group had LVEDD of(47.08±3.46)mm and LVESD of(36.19±2.71)mm,which were smaller than(54.18±3.52)and(40.95±2.60)mm in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no differences in heart rate and PR interval between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with before treatment, the heart rate decreased and PR interval increased in the two groups after treatment, and both heart rate and PR interval in the observation group were better than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of acute ventricular arrhythmia, compared with the treatment of metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets alone, combined treatment with amiodarone can effectively improve the clinical efficacy, improve the cardiac function of patients, promote the recovery of heart rate, and have a positive effect on the stability of cardiac function.
