Correlation between drug-resistant rates of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and antimicrobial use density
Objective To analyze the correlation between drug-resistant rates of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and antimicrobial use density. Methods The clinical distribution,drug-resist rate and use intensity of common antibiotics of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia in hospitalized patients in a tertiary hospital from 2018 to 2022 were analyzed and Spearman correlation analysis was used. Results Drug sensitivity test showed 438 strains of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, and they had low resistance to minocycline, compound sulfamethoxazole, levofloxacin and chloramphenicol, which were 2.19%,7.84%,11.00%and 17.59%,and relatively high drug-resistance rate to ceftazidime of 36.30%.The drug-resistant rate of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia to ceftazidime was positively correlated with the intensity of use of carbapenem antibiotics(r=0.880,P<0.05).Conclusion The antimicrobial use density can affect the resistance rate of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia to some antibiotics. The antimicrobial use density can affect the resistance rate of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia to some antibiotics.Reasonable control and reduction of the intensity of use of antibiotics can reduce the induced resistance of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.
