Effect of recombinant human epidermal growth factor on healing of abdominal incision in cesarean section
Objective To explore the practical value of recombinant human epidermal growth factor on healing of abdominal incision in cesarean section. Methods 68 cases of women who underwent cesarean section were divided into a control group(34 cases)and an experimental group(34 cases)according to the method of randomized numerical table. The control group was treated with conventional infection therapy, and the experimental group was treated with recombinant human epidermal growth factor on the basis of the control group. Both groups were compared in terms of incision healing, incision healing time, incision granuloma formation time, incision aesthetics, and postoperative complications. Results The incision healing in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The experimental group had incision healing time of(9.56±1.99)d and incision granuloma formation time of(13.35±2.12)d,which were shorter than(12.26±2.12)and(16.65±2.65)d in the control group(P<0.05).After follow-up,the Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS)score of the experimental group was(3.24±1.02)points,which was lower than(5.53±1.26)points of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group(17.65%),the complication rate of the experimental group(2.94%)was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of recombinant human epidermal growth factor in cesarean section can accelerate the healing of abdominal incision, ensure the beauty, and is worthy of clinical application.
