Efficacy of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor eye drops combined with pranoprofen on corneal edema after cataract phacoemulsification surgery and its influence on visual acuity
Objective To explore the efficacy of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor eye drops combined with pranoprofen on corneal edema after cataract phacoemulsification surgery and its influence on visual acuity.Methods A total of 96 patients with corneal edema after phacoemulsification surgery were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was treated with pranoprofen alone,while the observation group was treated with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor eye drops and praprofen simultaneously.The treatment effect,visual acuity,quality of life and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.67%,which was higher than the control group's 75.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1,4 and 12 weeks after treatment,the visual acuity of the observation group were(0.06±0.07),(0.05±0.06)and(0.04±0.06)points,which were better than(0.13±0.11),(0.09±0.09)and(0.08±0.11)points in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the social,emotional,physical,cognitive and role function scores of the observation group were(81.72±20.34),(89.89±18.56),(81.45±22.46),(89.79±14.12)and(89.57±28.46)points,which were higher than(69.12±22.29),(78.36±14.24),(67.37±14.61),(80.64±19.53)and(74.42±18.27)points of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group(4.17%)and the control group(8.33%)(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined application of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor eye drops and praloprofen in patients with corneal edema after cataract phacoemulsification can help patients improve vision and effectively promote their early recovery,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
