Current studies have shown that inflammatory response and immune dysfunction play an important role in the occurrence and development of ischemic stroke.Exploratory researches have shown that the interleukin(IL)-12 family is involved in multiple chronic inflammatory diseases and plays an important role in arteriosclerosis,it can enhance immune response and/or inhibit immune function.In this paper,the research status of interleukin-12 family cytokines in ischemic stroke is briefly reviewed,which may provide a new reference for prognosis and treatment of ischemic stroke patients.
