Efficacy analysis of piperacillin/tazobactam in the treatment of urinary system infection
Objective To explore the effect of piperacillin/tazobactam in the treatment of urinary system infection. Methods 75 patients with urinary tract infection were divided into a control group(28 cases)and a study group(47 cases)according to different treatment plans. The control group was treated with levofloxacin, and the study group was treated with piperacillin/tazobactam.The clinical efficacy, bacterial clearance rate and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 91.5%,which was higher than 71.4%of the control group(P<0.05).There were 37 strains in the study group and 21 strains in the control group. The bacterial clearance rate in the study group was 86.5%(32/37),which was not different from 85.7%(18/21)in the control group(P>0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the study group(4.3%)and the control group(3.6%)(P>0.05).Conclusion Piperacillin/tazobactam is effective and safe in the treatment of urinary system infection, which is worthy of application and promotion.
