The efficacy of liraglutide combined with exercise rehabilitation therapy on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and stroke and its influence on the inflammation level
Objective To explore the efficacy of liraglutide combined with exercise rehabilitation therapy on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and stroke and its influence on the inflammation level. Methods 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and stroke were divided into a control group and an observation group by computer random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with exercise rehabilitation, and the observation group was treated with liraglutide on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect and serum levels of inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)]before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had higher total effective rate of 97.50%than 75.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP in the observation group were(105.21±7.57)ng/L,(25.36±5.55)pg/ml and(18.16±2.47)mg/L;the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP in the control group were(105.66±7.44)ng/L,(25.81±5.71)pg/ml and(18.58±2.55)mg/L.After treatment, the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP in the observation group were(46.09±3.47)ng/L,(6.05±1.27)pg/ml and(4.05±1.09)mg/L;the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP in the control group were(59.77±4.55)ng/L,(7.47±1.94)pg/ml and(5.39±1.25)mg/L.Before treatment, the levels of IL-6,TNF-α and CRP in the two groups had little difference(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of IL-6,TNF-α and CRP in the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment, and the reduction of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and stroke, the combination of liraglutide and exercise rehabilitation therapy can ensure the efficacy and improve the inflammatory level of patients.
