Clinical effects of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and simultaneous chemoradiotherapy in thetreatment of pancreatic cancer
Objective To explore and analyze the clinical effects of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and adjuvant chemoradiotherapy in thetreatment of pancreatic cancer. Methods A total of 88 patients with pancreatic cancer were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method, namely observation group and control group, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was given adjuvant chemotherapy, and the observation group was given adjuvant chemotherapy and simultaneous chemoradiotherapy. The survival rate,disease-free survival rate, incidence of grade Ⅲ/Ⅳ toxic and side effects and quality of life score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The 1-year,2-year and 5-year survival rates in the observation group were 75.00%,59.09%and 13.64%,which were significantly higher than 54.55%,36.36%and 2.27%in the control group(P<0.05).The 6-month disease-free survival rate,1-year disease-free survival rate and 2-year disease-free survival rate in the observation group were 75.00%,47.73%and 31.82%,which were higher than 47.73%,27.27%and 11.36%in the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).The incidence of grade Ⅲ/Ⅳ toxic and side effects was 31.82%(14/44)in the control group and 11.36%(5/44)in the observation group;the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(χ2=5.437,P=0.020<0.05).After treatment, the scores of quality of life of physical pain, health status, mental state and physiological function in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and concurrent chemoradiotherapy have significant clinical effects on pancreatic cancer patients, which can not only improve the postoperative survival rate of patients at all times, but also improve the disease-free survival and disease-free survival rate of patients, and reduce toxic and side effects. It is recommended to promote the clinical application.
