Efficacy observation of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electric stimulation on postpartum urinary retention
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electric stimulation in patients with postpartum urinary retention.Methods 100 parturients who had urinary retention symptoms or tendency after removal of urinary tube after normal delivery or after surgery were selected.Following the principle of randomization,parturients were divided into a control group(original operation induced urination and neostigmine injection,50 cases)and an observation group(thunder-fire moxibustion plus electrical stimulation along with the original operation,50 cases).The therapeutic effect(self-urination,indwelling catheterization,patency of urination),postpartum residual urinary volume,urinary tract infection,time of first urination and satisfaction of parturient parturients after extraction of urinary tube were compared.Results The incidence of spontaneous urination,no indwelling catheterization and patency of urination in the observation group were 84.00%,82.00%and 80.00%,which were higher than 64.00%,60.00%and 58.00%in the control group,and the data had a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The postpartum residual urine volume of the observation group was(64.32±4.45)ml,which was less than(104.68±5.78)ml of the control group;the first urination time of the observation group was(5.43±1.87)min,which was shorter than(16.81±2.33)min of the control group;the incidence of urinary tract infection of the observation group was 0,which was lower than 18.00%of the control group;the data had a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Compared with 74.00%of patients in the control group,the total satisfaction of patients in the observation group was higher at 96.00%,and the data had a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electric stimulation has a good therapeutic effect on patients with postpartum urinary retention,and can reduce the phenomenon of urinary obstruction after postpartum indwelling catheterization,and improve the comfort and satisfaction of parturients.
