Change trend and cause analysis of perinatal mortality from 2013 to 2022
Objective To analyze the trend of perinatal mortality and the causes of death from 2013 to 2022 in Guangming District,Shenzhen,so as to provide a theoretical basis for reducing perinatal mortality.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on perinatal data and their deaths from 2013 to 2022 in Guangming District,Shenzhen.Results There were 94389 cases of perinatal infants,371 cases of perinatal death,with a mortality rate of 3.93‰ in Guangming District,Shenzhen in 10 years,and the perinatal mortality fluctuated from 2.29‰ to 5.18‰ in 10 years,and the perinatal mortality was generally on a downward trend.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that maternal age<20 years,maternal education junior high school or below,gestational age of delivery<37 weeks,and birth defects were risk factors for perinatal mortality(P<0.05).Conclusion The perinatal mortality is decreasing year by year from 2013 to 2022 in Guangming District,Shenzhen,and maternal age<20 years,gestational age of delivery<37 weeks,maternal education junior high school or below and birth defects are the main risk factors for perinatal mortality in Guangming District,Shenzhen.Therefore,in order to effectively reduce perinatal mortality,it is necessary to strengthen health education,improve the health literacy of the masses,advocate eugenics,timely prenatal examination,timely prenatal screening and prenatal diagnosis,strengthen the prevention and control of birth defects,avoid early marriage and early childbearing,and avoid severe fetal malformations entering the perinatal period,so as to reduce perinatal mortality.
