Efficacy observation of fexofenadine hydrochloride combined with cinnarizine and spleen aminopeptide lyophilized powder on chronic urticaria
Objective To observe the efficacy of fexofenadine hydrochloride combined with cinnarizine and spleen aminopeptide lyophilized powder on chronic urticaria.Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with chronic urticaria were retrospectively analyzed and divided into combined medication group and single medication group according to different medication methods,with 50 cases in each group.The single medication group was treated with fexofenadine hydrochloride alone,and the combined medication group was treated with fexofenadine hydrochloride combined with cinnarizine and spleen aminopeptide lyophilized powder.After 3 months of follow-up,comparison was made on symptom score,dermatology life quality index(DLQI)score,and serum cytokine[interferon-γ(IFN-γ),leukotriene(LT),carbon monoxide(NO),interleukin-2(IL-2),IL-4,IL-10,IL-18],immune function[immunoglobulin(Ig)A,IgE,IgG,IgM]before and after medication,clinical efficacy,incidence of adverse reactions,and recurrence between the two groups.Results After medication,the wheal number score,wheal size score,wheal duration score,itching severity score,total symptom score and DLQI score in both groups were lower than those before medication;in the combined treatment group,the wheal number score was(0.36±0.11)points,the wheal size score was(0.44±0.12)points,the wheal duration score was(0.48±0.15)points,the itching severity score was(1.27±0.11)points,the total symptom score was(2.55±0.80)points,and the DLQI score was(5.40±1.26)points,which were lower than(1.32±0.25),(1.36±0.25),(1.85±0.36),(1.36±0.22),(5.89±1.12),and(7.63±1.38)points in the single medication group;the difference was significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of LT,NO,IL-4,IL-10 and IgE in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the serum levels of IFN-γ,IL-2,IL-18,IgA,IgG and IgM were higher than those before treatment;the combined medication group had serum LT of(60.51±10.27)pg/ml,NO of(49.51±7.11)μmol/L,IL-4 of(3.01±0.51)ng/L,IL-10 of(4.48±0.67)ng/L and IgE of(33.20±6.94)IU/ml,which were lower than(84.21±10.80)pg/ml,(58.66±8.48)μmol/L,(4.41±0.77)ng/L,(6.85±0.93)ng/L and(45.60±7.70)IU/ml in the single medication group;the combined medication group had serum IFN-γ of(28.93±4.57)ng/L,IL-2 of(55.51±8.92)ng/L,IL-18 of(47.97±7.97)ng/L,IgA of(0.97±0.13)g/L,IgG of(7.71±0.37)g/L,and IgM of(1.66±0.20)g/L,which were higher than(22.11±4.28)ng/L,(40.37±7.85)ng/L,(32.55±5.22)ng/L,(0.79±0.11)g/L,(7.55±0.31)g/L,and(1.50±0.20)g/L in the single medication group;the difference was significant(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the combined treatment group was 98.00%(49/50),which was higher than 84.00%(42/50)of the single treatment group,and the difference was significant(χ2=5.983,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the combined treatment group was 4.00%(2/50),which was lower than 18.00%(9/50)in the single treatment group,and the difference was significant(χ2=5.005,P<0.05).The recurrence rate in the combined treatment group was 10.00%(5/50),which was lower than 38.00%(19/50)in the single treatment group,and the difference was significant(χ2=10.746,P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of fexofenadine hydrochloride combined with cinnarizine and spleen aminopeptide lyophilized powder in the treatment of chronic urticaria is more significant than that of fexofenadine hydrochloride alone,and it is worthy of promotion.
