Evaluation of the efficacy of endoscopic tissue glue combined with mucosal injection in the treatment of gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding
Objective To observe the efficacy of endoscopic tissue glue combined with mucosal injection in the treatment of gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding. Methods 80 patients with gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding were divided into a control group(endoscopic mucosal injection,40 cases)and an observation group(endoscopic tissue glue combined with mucosal injection,40 cases). The hospitalization conditions(hospitalization time, hospitalization costs),hemostatic effect, and rebleeding of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had shorter hospitalization time of(4.53±0.66)d than(7.97±1.27)d in the control group, and less hospitalization costs of(1426.85±30.79)yuan than(1896.96±45.18)yuan in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The hemostasis success rate in the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 75.00%in the control group;the observation group had hemostasis failure rate of 5.00%and rebleeding rate of 2.50%,which were lower than 25.00%and 20.00%in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding, the use of endoscopic tissue glue combined with mucosal injection can significantly shorten the hospitalization time, reduce hospitalization costs, improve the hemostasis success rate, and reduce the rebleeding rate with desirable effects.
