The application effect of washed red blood cells in the transfusion therapy of patients with repeated red blood cell transfusion
Objective To study the application value of washed red blood cells in the transfusion therapy of patients with repeated red blood cell transfusion. Methods 138 patients requiring repeated red blood cell infusion were studied and divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 69 patients in each group. The control group was transfused with leucocyte-reduced red blood cell suspension, and the observation group was transfused with washed red blood cells. Both groups were compared in terms of incidence of adverse transfusion reactions, laboratory indicators[hemoglobin(Hb),red blood cell count(RBC),reticulocyte ratio(Rtc),platelet count(PLT),white blood cell count(WBC)]and therapeutic effect. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.10%,which was higher the control group's 85.51%,and the difference was significant(χ2=5.841,P=0.016<0.05).After transfusion,Hb and RBC in both groups were significantly higher than those before transfusion, and Rtc was significantly lower than that before transfusion;the observation group had Hb of(78.95±5.48)g/L and RBC of(3.12±0.43)×1012/L,which were higher than(71.34±5.23)g/L and(2.75±0.39)×1012/L in the control group;the observation group had significantly lower Rtc of(18.54±1.23)%than(23.43±1.58)%in the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in PLT and WBC after blood transfusion in the observation group(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse transfusion reactions was 5.80%in the observation group and 8.70%in the control group. There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse transfusion reactions between the two groups(χ2=0.431,P=0.511>0.05).Conclusion The application effect of washed red blood cells in patients with repeated red blood cell transfusion is certain, and it can quickly relieve the anemia symptoms of patients, and it is safe and worthy of clinical promotion.
