Efficacy observation of vitamin D2 injection combined with lipoic acid injection in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic peripheral neuropathy
Objective To analyze the effect of vitamin D2 injection combined with lipoic acid injection in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods 90 patients with T2DM and DPN were selected and divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with lipoic acid injection,and the study group was treated with vitamin D2 injection and lipoic acid injection.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of clinical effect,nerve conduction velocity[median sensory nerve conduction velocity(MSCV),peroneal motor nerve conduction velocity(PMCV),median motor nerve conduction velocity(MMCV),peroneal sensory nerve conduction velocity(PSCV)],blood glucose index[glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),2 h postprandial glucose(2 h PG),fasting plasma glucose(FPG)],and the occurrence of adverse reactions.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the study group was 95.56%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 82.22%;the study group was better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the study group had MSCV of(59.17±3.23)m/s,PMCV of(45.89±2.51)m/s,MMCV of(46.24±2.24)m/s,and PSCV of(35.13±2.02)m/s,which were higher than(55.61±2.69),(43.01±2.27),(43.29±2.63),and(32.16±3.62)m/s in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the study group had HbA1c of(6.09±0.78)%,2 h PG of(10.83±0.86)mmol/L and FPG of(5.35±0.46)mmol/L,which were lower than(7.01±0.84)%,(11.82±0.68)mmol/L and(6.96±0.71)mmol/L in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 4.44%,and the difference was not statistically significant from 6.67%in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination treatment of vitamin D2 injection and lipoic acid injection for T2DM with DPN has a good effect,which can effectively improve the blood glucose index of patients,accelerate the speed of nerve conduction of patients,and effectively promote their early recovery,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
