Observation on the efficacy of fluvoxamine combined with risperidone in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of fluvoxamine combined with risperidone in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Methods A total of 86 patients with definite diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with fluvoxamine alone, and the observation group was treated with fluvoxamine and risperidone. The scores of Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale(Y-BOCS)and Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS)before treatment and 8 weeks after treatment, clinical efficacy and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After 8 weeks of treatment,Y-BOCS scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment;the observation group had lower Y-BOCS score of(3.68±0.74)points than(14.18±1.58)points in the control group. The difference was significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 90.70%,which was significantly higher than 74.42%of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in TESS score between the two groups before treatment and 8 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined use of fluvoxamine and risperidone is more accurate in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, which is significantly better than risperidone monotherapy, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
