Objective To observe the influence of levofloxacin combined with Qingfei Huatan Decoction on inflammatory markers and effects in patients with chronic bronchitis.Methods A total of 90 patients with chronic bronchitis were selected as the study subjects and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the patients'individual wishes,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with levofloxacin,and the observation group was treated with levofloxacin combined with Qingfei Huatan Decoction.Comparison was made on traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,inflammatory markers[C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)],lung function[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),FEV1/FVC]and quality of life before and after treatment,and clinical effect.Results After treatment,the scores of cough,expectoration,red-tipped tongue,thin yellow fur and thready and rapid pulse in both groups were lower than those before treatment in this group,and the scores of cough,expectoration,red-tipped tongue,thin yellow fur and thready and rapid pulse in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 in both groups were lower than those before treatment;the observation group had CRP of(13.56±1.82)mg/L,TNF-α of(1.13±0.20)ng/ml and IL-6 of(129.65±14.31)ng/L,which were lower than(21.34±2.45)mg/L,(1.59±0.39)ng/ml and(163.80±15.64)ng/L in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in both groups were higher than those before treatment in this group;the observation group had FVC of(3.38±0.34)L,FEV1 of(2.38±0.30)L and FEV1/FVC of(61.72±4.81)%,which were higher than(2.85±0.26)L,(1.78±0.35)L and(56.76±4.20)%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of physical discomfort,psychosocial problems,functional status,emotional health,extreme physical discomfort and self-safety concern in both groups were lower than those before treatment in this group;the scores of physical discomfort,psychosocial problems,functional status,emotional health,extreme physical discomfort and self-safety concern in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had higher total effective rate of 93.33%than 73.33%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Levofloxacin combined with Qingfei Huatan Decoction can improve the clinical effect of chronic bronchitis patients,improve the clinical symptoms of patients,inhibit the release of inflammatory markers,and promote the early recovery of lung function.
