Effect analysis of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction combined with tension-free hernioplasty in the treatment of inguinal hernia
Objective To analyze the effectiveness of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction combined with tension-free hernioplasty in the treatment of inguinal hernia.Methods 70 patients with inguinal hernia were selected and divided into a control group and a treatment group by lottery method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with tension-free hernioplasty,and the treatment group was treated with tension-free hernioplasty and Buzhong Yiqi Decoction.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of postoperative recovery indexes(postoperative drainage tube removal time,postoperative drainage volume,anal exhaust time,postoperative ambulation time,hospital stay),complication rate,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and quality of life score.Results In the treatment group,the postoperative drainage tube removal time,anal exhaust time,postoperative ambulation time and hospital stay were(30.36±4.20)h,(28.58±8.76)h,(32.28±8.89)h and(8.18±2.84)d,which were shorter than(34.60±4.30)h,(36.43±8.23)h,(49.12±9.65)h and(14.08±3.28)d in the control group;the treatment group had less postoperative drainage volume of(103.33±7.02)ml than(116.50±1.16)ml in the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate of the treatment group was 2.86%,which was lower than 22.86%of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of groin area or lower abdominal distension,indigestion and low food intake,fatigue,and lazy speech in the treatment group were(2.03±0.15),(1.95±0.22),(1.92±0.25)and(2.15±0.31)points,which were lower than(2.93±0.35),(2.86±0.41),(2.82±0.33)and(2.79±0.21)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of material status function,psychological function,physical function and social function in the treatment group were(82.10±9.46),(80.31±8.22),(82.16±10.48)and(83.10±11.24)points,which were higher than(74.17±9.52),(73.65±8.28),(72.78±11.14)and(72.98±12.05)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of combined tension-free hernioplasty and Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on patients with inguinal hernia is satisfactory,which can promote postoperative recovery of patients,reduce complications,reduce traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and improve quality of life,so it is recommended to be popularized.
