The therapeutic effect of aminophylline combined with budesonide on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and its influence on quality of life of patients
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of aminophylline combined with budesonide on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and its influence on quality of life of patients. Methods 80 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were included as the analysis subjects. The patient were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table, with 40 patients in each group. All patients received routine symptomatic treatment, while the control group received budesonide, and the observation group received aminophylline on this basis. Both groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy, pulmonary function indexes[forced expiratory volume in one second as a percentage of the predicted value(FEV1%),forced vital capacity(FVC),ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)]and quality of life of before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate was 95.00%in the observation group, which was significantly higher than 77.50%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,FEV1%,FVC and FEV1/FVC in both groups were higher than those before treatment;the observation group had FEV1%of(71.28±11.73)%,FVC of(2.75±0.21)L and FEV1/FVC of(69.55±10.67)%,which were higher than(62.31±10.27)%,(2.45±0.15)L and(60.38±10.06)%in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of physiology, psychology, society and environment in both groups were higher than those before treatment;the physiology score in the observation group was(4.39±0.78)points,the psychology score was(4.41±0.97)points,the society score was(4.48±0.79)points and the environment score was(4.78±0.89)points,which were higher than(3.41±1.09),(3.14±1.02),(3.35±1.14)and(3.46±0.98)points in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of aminophylline and budesonide for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is beneficial for better control of the condition, improvement of lung function and quality of life.
