The efficacy of non-invasive ventilator in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of non-invasive ventilator in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods 58 patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were selected and divided into a comparison group and a study group by computer random number table method, with 29 cases in each group.Patients in the comparison group were treated with conventional treatment, and patients in the study group were treated with non-invasive ventilator. The therapeutic effect, pulmonary function indexes[forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)]and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 96.55%(28/29),which was higher than 75.86%(22/29)of the comparison group, and there was significant difference(χ2=5.220,P=0.022<0.05).After treatment, the study group had FEV1 of(1.85±0.40)L,FVC of(2.99±0.60)L,PEF of(4.62±0.70)/L/s,which were higher than(1.50±0.30)L,(2.42±0.51)L,(3.89±0.60)/L/s in the comparison group, and there was significant difference(t=3.770,3.898,4.264;P=0.000,0.000,0.000<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 6.90%(2/29),which was lower than 27.59%(8/29)in the comparison group, and there was significant difference(χ2=4.350,P=0.037<0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive ventilator has significant effect on patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and can improve the lung function index, reduce adverse reactions, and promote the recovery of prognosis.
