Efficacy observation of semiconductor laser combined with antibacterial peptides on the treatment of pericoronitis of wisdom teeth during pregnancy
Objective To analyze the influence of semiconductor laser combined with antibacterial peptides(trade name:Shengrukang medical polypeptide oral dressings)on the short-term efficacy of pericoronitis of wisdom teeth during pregnancy,so as to provide a new diagnosis and treatment idea for pericoronitis of wisdom teeth during pregnancy.Methods 50 patients with pericoronitis of wisdom teeth during pregnancy were collected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,each with 25 patients.The control group was treated with pericoronal irrigation,and the experimental group was treated with semiconductor laser pericoronal irrigation combined with antibacterial peptides on the basis of pericoronal irrigation.The visual analogue scale(VAS)score and gingival index(GI)before and after treatment,clinical efficacy,patient satisfaction,and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.Results Immediately after treatment,VAS score in the observation group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group.There was a significant difference(P<0.05).After 3 d of treatment,VAS and GI of the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment,but the observation group was more obvious,and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).In the observation group,the total effective rate was 100%,which was significantly higher than 76%in the control group;the total satisfaction rate was 100%,which was significantly higher than 80%in the control group;the recurrence rate was 0,which was significantly lower than 16%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of semiconductor laser and antibacterial peptides can significantly improve the short-term clinical efficacy and patient satisfaction of pericoronitis of wisdom teeth during pregnancy,and lower the short-term recurrence rate,which is worthy of promotion and use in clinical work.
