Effect of acupoint application combined with massage intervention on compliance and outcome of atomization therapy in children with asthmatic bronchopneumonia
Objective To observe and analyze the effect of acupoint application combined with massage intervention on compliance and outcome of atomization therapy in children with asthmatic bronchopneumonia. Methods 100 children with asthmatic bronchopneumonia were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional atomization, and the observation group was treated with acupoint application and massage intervention on the basis of the control group.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of lung function(CT visual score)before and after treatment, improvement of clinical symptoms(time of disappearance of wheezing rale, time of disappearance of wheeze, duration of fever, time of regression of lesions under radiological examination, length of hospital stay),child compliance and incidence of adverse reactions. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in CT visual scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the CT visual scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment;the CT visual score of the observation group was(8.54±1.93)points,which was lower than(11.41±1.67)points of the control group(P<0.05).In the observation group, the time of disappearance of wheeze was(3.33±0.35)d,the time of disappearance of wheezing rale was(3.47±0.51)d,the duration of fever was(3.36±0.61)d,the time of regression of lesions under radiological examination was(3.49±0.38)d,and the length of hospital stay was(6.84±0.86),which were significantly shorter than(3.67±0.84),(3.84±0.98),(3.68±0.89),(3.83±0.76),and(7.38±1.29)d in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in child compliance between the two groups(P>0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.00%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of acupoint application and massage intervention on the basis of routine treatment in children with asthmatic bronchopneumonia can better improve lung function, shorten the time required for symptom improvement, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions in children. It is safer, and is recommended to be promoted.
