Analysis of the significance of auricular points plaster therapy combined with acupoint application on the recurrence rate of patients with epigastric pain
Objective To analyze the significance of auricular points plaster therapy combined with acupoint application on the recurrence rate of patients with epigastric pain. Methods 60 patients with epigastric pain were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine clinical treatment, while the experimental group received routine clinical treatment and auricular points plaster therapy. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, comprehensive efficacy, quality of life scores, anxiety and depression scores, and recurrence rate related scores were compared between two groups. Results At the 1st,2nd and 3rd week of treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the experimental group were(63.1±5.1),(44.2±3.1)and(29.3±1.3)points,which were lower than(73.9±5.2),(51.1±3.2)and(39.9±1.4)points of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 83.33%,which was higher than 53.33%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the experimental group, the quality of life scores was(73.6±7.3)points,which was higher than(57.1±5.9)points in the control group;the anxiety and depression score was(3.3±0.1)points and the recurrence rate related score was(22.7±3.3)points,which were lower than(5.2±0.2)and(57.3±4.7)points in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of auricular points plaster therapy and acupoint application has a significant effect on patients with epigastric pain, which can improve their clinical symptoms, and is worth promoting.
