Study on the influence of pharmacists'participation in prescription management on the rational use of antibacterial drugs in outpatient clinics
Objective To explore the influence of pharmacists'participation in prescription management on the rational use of antibacterial drugs in outpatient clinics. Methods 100 patients receiving antimicrobial drug therapy in outpatient clinics were selected and grouped according to a random number table;50 patients in the control group received routine prescription management, and 50 patients in the study group received prescription management involving pharmacists. The reasons for antimicrobial drug use, combination, irrational use, adverse reactions and medication satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The therapeutic medication rate in the study group was 74.00%,which was higher than 40.00%in the control group;the preventive and unindicated medication rates were 24.00%and 2.00%,both of which were lower than 46.00%and 14.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The single antimicrobial rate in the study group was 62.00%,which was higher than 42.00%in the control group, while the medication rate of triple and above was 10.00%,which was lower than 28.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of unreasonable antimicrobial use in the study group was 10.00%,which was lower than 32.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions after antimicrobial use in the study group was 8.00%,which was significantly lower than 22.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The medication satisfaction rate of the patients in the study group was 98.00%,which was higher than 82.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pharmacists'participation in prescription management can significantly improve the rationality of antibiotics in outpatient clinics, and reduce adverse reactions,so as to improve medication satisfaction of patients, which is worth promoting.
