Stability investigation of invisalign in jawbone remodeling in 1 adult case
This study investigates the stability of invisalign in jawbone remodeling in 1 adult case. The patient is an adult female with facial problems such as temporomandibular joint asymmetry, articular bony asymmetry, osseous protrusion, maxillary protrusion, mandibular retrusion, dental irregularities, wisdom teeth retention, and facial asymmetry.During the course of treatment, the patient underwent invisalign, which gradually adjusts the position of the jaws and alignment of the teeth over a period of time through the use of clear braces. The doctor closely monitors the patient's progress and make necessary adjustments and corrections accordingly. After treatment, maxillary midline is asymmetrical, maxillary space is not closed, and anterior tooth depressions were not enough. The adjustment of the cusp molars is basically consistent with the animation realization rate, and the face shape appeared soft, the side convexity was obvious, the mandibular retraction is improved, and the mean face shape is maintained after 1 year and 2 years. After a period of treatment, the patient's facial morphology is significantly improved. The asymmetry of the temporomandibular joint is reduced, the bony asymmetry of the joint and the bony protrusion are improved, and the position of the upper and lower jaws is corrected. The problems of teeth misalignment and wisdom teeth retention are effectively solved, and the facial angle is normalized.More importantly,follow-up observations shows that the results of the treatment remained stable over time. There is no significant rebound or deterioration in the improvement of facial shape, and the patient's occlusal function is better restored.
