Study on effect of physical therapy on rehabilitation and pelvic floor muscle strength of patients with postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction
Objective To study the effect of physical therapy on rehabilitation and pelvic floor muscle strength of patients with postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction. Methods 101 patients with postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction were selected for this study, and they were divide into a control group(51 cases)and a study group(50 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group received pelvic floor muscle function exercise, and the study group received physical therapy based on the control group. Both groups were compared in terms of treatment efficacy, rehabilitation indicators, improvement of pelvic floor muscle strength, numerical rating scale(NRS)score, pelvic floor muscle strength score, degree of pelvic organ prolapse, and incidence of adverse reactions. Results Compared with 78.43%in the control group, the total effective rate in the study group was higher at 94.00%(P<0.05).In the study group, the time of first anal exhaust was(1229.47±138.28)min,the time of spontaneous urination was(90.98±12.56)min,and the time of hospitalization was(8.50±1.08)d,which were shorter than(1829.70±150.89)min,(118.90±8.06)min,and(16.80±2.71)d in the control group(P<0.05).After 3,6 and 12 months of treatment, the improvement of pelvic floor muscle strength in the study group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,NRS score was lower than that before treatment, and the pelvic floor muscle strength score was higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).Compared with(3.21±0.92)and(2.07±0.15)points in the control group, the study group had a lower NRS score of(1.26±0.30)points and a higher pelvic floor muscle strength score of(3.80±0.80)points after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the degree of pelvic organ prolapse was better in the study group after treatment(P<0.05).Adverse reaction incidence rate, compared to 19.61%of the control group, research group 6.00%lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Physical therapy has a significant rehabilitation effect on women postpartum with pelvic floor dysfunction, which can effectively improve the pelvic floor muscle function, improve pelvic organ prolapse, promote pelvic floor rehabilitation, and has high safety.
