Influence of CPM combined with traditional rehabilitation training on postoperative knee function and rehabilitation effect in patients with left meniscus injury
Objective To analyze the influence of continuous passive motion(CPM)combined with traditional rehabilitation training on postoperative knee function and rehabilitation effect in patients with left meniscus injury. Methods 40 patients with left meniscus injury were divided into a control group and a study group based on the differences in admission order, with 20 patients in each group. The control group was given traditional rehabilitation training, while the study group was given CPM intervention for a period of 10 d after 24 h postoperatively and after hemostasis of the surgical incision. The rehabilitation excellence rate, pain score, knee function score, joint range of motion, quality of life, and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the rehabilitation excellence rate of 70.00%in the control group, the rehabilitation excellence rate of 95.00%in the study group was higher(P<0.05).After intervention, the pain scores of both groups were decreased, and the knee function scores and joint motion were improved;the pain score was(0.57±0.15)points in the study group, which was lower compared to(1.51±0.38)points in the control group;the study group had knee function score of(89.05±8.13)points and joint range of motion of(129.79±8.91)°,which were higher than(77.48±6.01)points and(107.63±6.01)° in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of psychological state, social function, physiological state and bodily pain were improved in both groups;in the study group, the psychological status score was(73.63±6.51)points,the social function score was(73.27±6.36)points,the physiological status score was(73.79±6.35)points and the bodily pain score was(73.18±6.60)points,which were higher than(62.77±4.24),(62.59±4.41),(62.31±4.89)and(62.63±4.24)points in the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate was 5.00%in the study group, which was lower than 15.00%in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion CPM combined with traditional rehabilitation training can significantly improve knee function and range of motion, alleviate pain, improve quality of life and rehabilitation effect, and reduce the risk of complications in patients with left meniscus injury.
