Analysis of the application effect of hysteroscopic cold knife resection combined with levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system in the treatment of endometrial polyps
Objective To explore the effect of hysteroscopic cold knife resection combined with levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system in the treatment of endometrial polyps.Methods 94 patients with endometrial polyps were divided into a reference group and a study group according to different treatment plans,each with 47 cases.The reference group underwent hysteroscopic cold knife resection,while the study group underwent hysteroscopic cold knife resection combined with levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system intervention.Comparison was made on the menstrual status,endometrial thickness,quality of sexual life,sex hormones[luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2),progesterone(P)],and quality of life before and after treatment between two groups.Results After treatment,the menstrual duration in both groups was shorter than that before treatment,and the menstrual volume,endometrial thickness and pictorial blood loss assessment chart(PBAC)score were lower than those before treatment;the menstrual duration of(5.16±1.33)d in the study group was shorter than(7.85±1.31)d in the control group;in the study group,the menstrual volume was(63.11±5.25)ml,the endometrial thickness was(2.87±0.96)mm and PBAC score was(85.13±3.26)points,which were lower than(84.36±9.13)ml,(5.13±1.24)mm and(93.26±3.54)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the orgasms,libido and psychosexual scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment;in the study group,the orgasmic score was(88.13±3.54)points,the libido score was(89.65±3.25)points and the psychosexual score was(91.23±3.56)points,which were higher than(83.12±3.96),(84.13±3.29)and(85.12±3.26)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of LH,FSH,E2 and P in both groups were lower than those before treatment;the study group had LH of(21.19±2.86)mIU/ml,FSH of(10.39±1.87)mIU/ml,E2 of(56.21±8.12)pmol/L and P of(1.35±0.26)nmol/L,which were lower than(26.12±2.87)mIU/ml,(16.57±1.98)mIU/ml,(76.23±8.26)pmol/L and(2.87±0.51)nmol/L in the reference group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of physical function,psychological function,environmental function and social function of the two groups were higher than those before treatment;the scores of physical function,psychological function,environmental function and social function of the study group was higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of hysteroscopic cold knife resection and levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system can improve the menstrual status,sex hormone levels,endometrial thickness of patients with endometrial polyps,and enhance their quality of sexual life and quality of life.The effect is significant.
